Youth Love Egypt Foundation meets British climate Champion

Ahmed Fathy, CEO of the Youth Love Egypt Foundation, met Nigel Topping, the British climate envoy and climate champion, at the Cop 26 conference, on the sidelines of the activities of the first regional climate week in the Middle East and North Africa, to be held in the UAE from 28-31 March.

The meeting reviewed the efforts of the Youth Love Egypt Foundation at COP26 Climate Summit that was held in Glasgow, United Kingdom, and the initiatives and activities launched by the Foundation, including the Climate Pioneers Initiative, the Nile Tree Project, the Green Church Initiative, and the establishment of the Egyptian Federation for Climate Change.

The meeting also dealt with exchanging experiences on the role of youth in the 26th and 27th Climate Summits, with an emphasis on strengthening cooperation on common issues. The session witnessed a fruitful dialogue with Dr. Mahmoud Mohieldin, the climate Champion for the upcoming Cop 27 climate conference.
